I am Joe Smith—some call me "LinebackerDad". For the last five years, I have served as your Family and Community Engagement Director, bringing recreation programs, music enrichment, and wraparound services to our schools. I stand on family values and the opportunity to live, work, and play in a safe, clean, and beautiful city.
Practical solutions for Lemon Grove's future.
Addressing the $171 million backlog in needed repairs. I will prioritize fixing streets and storm drains, ensuring residential streets get attention, not just main roads.
Partnering with regional agencies and nonprofits to create effective, compassionate solutions to homelessness and housing insecurity while ensuring safety.
Championing transparency, fiscal responsibility, and collaboration, so Lemon Grove never again faces the threat of disincorporation.
San Diego County's tourism industry has a $20 billion impact on our economy. I will seek opportunities to bring a share of that to Lemon Grove, supporting local jobs and businesses.
